Case Study
- Challenge: Daily Mail Sport needed a high-impact visual campaign to promote an in-person live sports talk in New York. The creative had to capture attention instantly, communicate liveness, and work seamlessly across large-format print, transit spaces, and digital screens for an audience of over one million readers.
- Approach: I developed a cohesive visual system rooted in Daily Mail’s recognizable style, balancing urgency, curiosity, and brand consistency. The core goal was to build a design language that translated well across scale, from billboards to vertical web banners.
-
Design Decisions:
Hierarchy - A bold Daily Mail–style LIVE badge paired with a strong headline establishes instant recognition and communicates the real-time nature of the event.
Imagery - Layered player cut-outs add motion and depth, while a central silhouette introduces intrigue, hinting at the featured speaker and inviting viewers to engage.
Color & Typography - Signature Daily Mail Sport green highlights call-to-action elements. & High-contrast typography ensures clarity and readability across all viewing distances. -
Production Assets: - Print-ready 300 DPI PDFs
- Scaled artboards for billboards, transit posters, social formats, and vertical web banners
- Polished mockups for stakeholder sign-off
Outcomes
